Mission, Honor Code & Core Values
Mission
To develop future officers mentally, morally, and physically, and to instill in them the highest ideals of duty and loyalty — in order to commission college graduates as naval officers who possess a basic professional background, are motivated toward careers in naval service, and have the potential to assume the highest responsibilities of command, citizenship, and government.

Honor Code
"A future officer does not lie, cheat, or steal."
The ROD states it plainly: military systems operating under extreme duress are built on absolute trust. NROTC exists to instill honor during accession training so it carries into fleet service.
